Jennifer Byer, MD
Dr. Jennifer Byer earned her medical degree and completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of South Florida (USF) in Tampa, FL. In 2014, she was awarded a Fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at the Moffitt Cancer Center/University of South Florida. With a keen interest in clinical research, Dr. Byer has presented at various medical meetings, including the Gastrointestinal Cancers Symposium in California and the Infectious Diseases Society of America in Philadelphia, PA. She has also written and reviewed articles published in several peer-reviewed journals. Throughout her career, Dr. Byer has volunteered in her local community and beyond, including the USF BRIDGE Clinic and the Latin Medical Student Association (LMSA) Medical Mission Team.
Dr. Byer enjoys spending time with her family and geriatric dogs, exploring her new community, and playing tennis. Her philosophy is treating every patient as you would treat family, and she is passionate about advocating for excellent patient care.
