John David, MD
Dr. John David is a board-certified radiation oncologist. He has advanced sub-specialized training in brachytherapy and extensive expert training in radiopharmaceuticals. His other interests include stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), intensity modulated radiation therapy (IMRT) and stereotactic body radiation therapy/stereotactic ablative radiation therapy (SBRT/SABR). Prior to joining Comprehensive Hematology Oncology, Dr. David served as the Director of Brachytherapy Services and Lead Physician of Radiopharmaceuticals at University of South Florida and Tampa General Hospital. Dr. David also gained valuable experience in one of the most contemporary radiation treatment modalities, proton therapy, while working with physicians at the New York Proton Center. Dr. David has received many awards including ASCO Merit award, Gold Humanism nominee, American College of Physicians Young Achievers Award and he was top 1% in his medical class . Dr. David enjoys caring for his patients, sports, and spending his free time with family. He is fluent in English and Arabic.
